Tintagel is one of the few unspoiled historical places of England, situated on one of the most romantic stretches of a truly awesome and spectacular coastline much of which is now preserved by the National Trust. Tintagel Castle is one of the most spectacularly beautiful places in the whole of South-west England. Its dramatic landscape has been used as the setting for some of Britain's most famous legends - the stories of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
